Soft sky blue drifting into cloudy white, with grey banding running through it like weather over shallow water. It has a chalky, matte feel in the hand. Not glassy, not flashy. More like something that settled slowly.
Caribbean Calcite is the one people reach for when their head will not go quiet. It takes the edge off looping thoughts without numbing anything out. Calm you can still think inside of.
Keep it on the nightstand if you wake at 3am with your brain already running. Hold it in your palm during meditation, or set it on the desk for the kind of workday that keeps pulling your shoulders up toward your ears. It also sits well in a bedroom as a quiet anchor rather than an active tool.
Despite the name, this material comes out of Pakistan and is blue calcite with white aragonite grown through it. It is a soft stone, so it marks and dusts more easily than quartz does.
You will be sent the piece intuitively chosen for you.
Set it somewhere you look when you are tired. Let it do the rest.
Quick facts
- Material: Blue calcite with white aragonite, typically mined in Pakistan. Natural banding, cloudy zones and small pits are normal.
- Sizes: One piece per order, palm sized. Shape, banding and depth of blue vary from piece to piece.
- Best for: Quieting a racing mind at night, easing anxious thought loops, meditation support, keeping a calm anchor on a desk or nightstand.
- Pairs well with: Amethyst for sleep, blue lace agate for anxious speech, selenite for clearing.
- Care: Keep it dry. Calcite is soft, around 3 on the Mohs scale, and water, salt and anything acidic will dull or pit the surface. Cleanse with sound, smoke or moonlight, and store it where it will not knock against harder stones.
